Satire Site Runs Incredibly Boring PBS-Style Pledge Drive to Fund Operations

Coffee lovers across the United States and beyond were severely bored today as one popular hyper-niche coffee satire website ran an incredibly boring PBS-style pledge drive in order to guilt casual enjoyers of the site into pledging funds for daily operations.

“We really can’t do this without your support,” the site’s owner tweeted. “For even just five dollars a month—just half of what you pay for Netflix—you can really make a big difference.”

Our sources found that lovers of the site were incredibly bored by the pledge drive-related content and very much wanted it to go away, but, in most cases, not enough to actually donate.
